After a really busy day the worst part of my beauty routine is taking my make up off and washing my face. It’s probably the least fun part of my beauty routine. For a while I was a huge fan of cleansing cloths but I hated that they left my face feeling sticky after. Another thing I hated was that I still had to wash my face after using them… kinda pointless if you ask me. At the time I was attempting to finish my last set of Neutrogena Makeup Removing wipes, then they fell in the toilet and they were open… After fishing them out of the toilet and washing my hands =) I remembered that I had received these cloths in my Ipsy bag and figured they’d do the trick.
Well ladies and gents I am so happy that I gave these a shot! When I pulled the first one out I was like why are there bubbles on here? It turns out these can be rubbed together to create a foam! Once you wipe your makeup away there is nothing but a clean feeling left behind.
Besides not having to follow up with a full face wash after using these wipes I love the ingredients:
- White Willow Bark which is a natural form of salicylic acid that unclogs pores and wipes away dirt and oil
- Icelandic Kelp that fights inflammation
- Cucumber and Cornflower extracts to soothe and soften skin
- “Icelandic Complex, a proprietary natural blend that replenishes the nutrients that stress depletes. Sourced from Iceland’s pure and potent environment, it contains pollution-free Icelandic Glacial Water with 6 essential minerals to hydrate and detoxify skin, Arctic Cloudberry and Cranberry Seed Oils “super fruits of the Arctic” rich in Omega Fatty Acids, Vitamins and potent antioxidants as well as Pure Molecular Oxygen which delivers energy into skin’s deepest layers to bring back a youthful glow.”
After my first 5 nights using these cloths I went ahead and purchased them directly from Skyn Iceland’s website. If you are a new customer and sign up for their newsletter you’ll receive 15% off your first purchase. Any purchase over $40 gets you free shipping – which came in handy since 7 to 10 business day shipping is about $13.
You can purchase these Glacial Cleaning Cloths for $15 which comes with 30 cloths. If you want to give them a try without full commitment you can run over to Ulta and buy 10 Cloths for $7.99, not really the best deal though.
